Here’s How You Can Make A Cheaper Suit Look Expensive

Every man needs a few nice suits in his wardrobe. It doesn’t matter if your job requires you to dress business casual or if you can show up in a tracksuit, having a few proper suits on hand is always a good idea.

Showing up in a fresh, tailored suit will automatically help you be taken more seriously. It’s a great way to set a good first impression for a job interview, every day at work or to wear for a night out with friends or a significant other. There’s nothing better than a man in a suit! Here are a few ways you can make cheaper suits look more expensive with just a few tricks. 

1. Replace the buttons: Instead of the existing plastic buttons, replace the buttons with something just a little bit fancier and more your style. It won’t cost you a lot, and it will make a huge difference.
2. Avoid shiny fabrics & always check the sale section. You’ll be surprised by what you can find in there.
3.  Take in the sleeves: If you’re going to tailor anything, let it be the sleeves. They shouldn’t hang off your arms. Instead, a narrow, tapered sleeve is what you want, while having enough range of motion.
4. Add a cuff to the ankle: This is a detail you don’t see in suits under $500, usually. Adding this will automatically make the suit look more expensive.
5. Nice shoes and accessories: A nice pair of dress shoes and the right accessories will give the entire look the right finish touches!  Don’t cheap out on these.
