Time Saving Tips For On-The-Go Ladies

Rushing out the door with your makeup half done and your hair in a messy bun is far too familiar to you. You’ve got way too much on-the-go and mornings are the worst part about your day, every day. But, it doesn’t have to be that way.

The key is planning ahead so that you can do the bare minimum in the morning. It’s already hard enough getting out of bed, why add more stress?!

Here’s are some tips and tricks for smoother mornings.

1. Meal prep: Meal prepping is so extremely important. Not only will this help you make healthier decisions throughout the week, but it will also save you lots of time in the morning when trying to throw together some sort of lunch. Don’t only meal prep your lunches, you can also do your breakfast. Make yourself some egg cups or overnight oats. Both options refrigerate perfectly fine.
2. Prep the coffee machine: It’s just too much work in the morning to fill up the coffee machine, put the filter and the coffee in. Instead, do it the night before so all you have to do in the morning is press the button!
3. Set your clothes out: We’re talking about the entire outfit: bra, underwear, whatever it is you’re wearing, all out and ready to go for the next morning. That way you don’t have to hopelessly stare at your closet and ending up late, again.
4. Prep your work bag: Somehow, your work bag ends up being disastrous after just one day of work. Prep it the night before and make sure you’ve got all the essentials in there.
5. Shower & do your hair at night: This one isn’t for everyone. Try to shower and do your hair the night before. Whether you’re doing a no-heat look or actually taking the time to use heat, it’s easier to wake up with it all done then have to spend another hour in the morning.
6. Make lists: Do this throughout the week. As you remember something you have to do, add it to a list in your phone. This will help you stay on track and make sure you don’t forget anything.
7. Put everything in a digital calendar: This one is especially for the ladies with multiple jobs or crazy busy lives. Keeping track of the moving elements of the week will help you in planning social events and alone time throughout the week.
8. Set reminders: You will need reminders for those particularly busy days. You don’t want to end up missing an important event simply because you forgot.
