5 Things Happy People Don’t Have In Their Homes
Living in a warm and clean environment is essential if you want to feel good in your space. You’ve probably noticed that when your space is unorganized, you don’t sleep well as your mind is constantly agitated.
But there are also many objects that encourage anxiety and prevent you from being completely serene in your home.
- Bright colours: they agitate and annoy your vision. This doesn’t mean that you should go ahead and throw out all your bright accessories. What we’re saying is to limit them, especially in your bedroom.
- Disorder: if your home is constantly in disarray your mind will be troubled too. Invest in storage furniture and make sure you actually use it!
- A poorly positioned bed: There are several rules for a perfectly positioned bed. Never under a window or in front of a mirror. Clean sheets also make it easy to fall asleep peacefully.
- Carpets everywhere: Carpets are in style, but keep in mind that they’re real dust collectors. If you’re going to have carpets here and there, make sure you’re constantly cleaning them so you don’t end up coughing and sneezing while trying to relax or sleep.
- See-through curtains: the place where you sleep is supposed to be away from any sound or visual pollution. That means that you have to protect yourself from any outside distractions to get a good sleep. Get some opaque curtains for a deep sleep.
