How to copy Karen Gillan cozy LA home
Whether you know her as Amy Pond or Nebula, it’s safe to say that Karen Gillan is one hell of a sci-fi actress.
Her artistic exploits have taken her from her native Scotland to sunny Los Angeles, where she can still enjoy a good amount of anonymity (if you aren’t familiar with Guardians of the Galaxy’s anti-hero Nebula, she’s a cyborg with blue skin and no hair).
Even though she’s so far from home, she has managed to recreate a pub-inspired, Scottish feel in her California cottage designed by Pierce & Ward.
Recently, interior design publication Architectural Digest has taken their audience on a tour of Gillan’s LA abode, that she describes as “an old Scottish granny’s house”. The cottage is full of vintage inspirations, eye-catching details, moody ambiances, and overall has a very unique, welcoming vibe.
Does that sound like your dream house? We have narrowed down the five essentials you need to recreate Karen Gillan’s cozy cottage.
Happy decorating!
