Bella Hadid is undoubtedly one of the most beloved it girls and an all-around fashion muse. After taking a break from the limelight, moving to Texas, and bidding farewell to modelling earlier this year, the supermodel is now back on the prowl. In the last few months, she attended the 77th edition of the Cannes Film Festival in May, launched her fragrance business ‘Ôrəbella, and has been spotted multiple times around NYC. It’s safe to say that Bella and her iconic off-duty looks are officially back. Hadid’s street style is a category of its own, as she combines different influences and trends into a style that is as unique as it is cohesive. Her looks combine feminine and masculine elements, trending items with ironic, offbeat pieces, and modern interpretations of vintage influences. The end results are eclectic, unexpected looks that always feel authentically Bella.

Bella’s finger is steadily on the pulse of current fashion trends, which she doesn’t just adopt, but more often than not originates. While out and about in East Village, NYC, the supermodel channelled Stripped-era Xtina with a pair of bedazzled bottle green leather bell bottoms, a Y2K-reminiscent graphic tank top, and black pointed-toe kitten heels, and a large black leather hobo tote. Her gold jewellery, especially her chunky cuffs, is another super trendy detail for SS24.

Bella’s style often features feminine and romantic details inspired by the Coquette aesthetic. She usually pairs these Coquette influences with androgynous and masculine pieces. Photographed in New York City with IMG Models Talent Director, Joseph Thornton-Allan, the supermodel is seen sporting a baby tee adorned with a very coquette baby deer, distressed denim shorts, and black cowboy boots. Bella went for a leather bucket bag, sporty wraparound sunglasses, and silver bangles as her accessories.

Hadid is one of the founding mothers of the Office Siren aesthetic and has shown a clear passion for 90s-inspired eyewear. Besides her collection of tiny oval and square sunglasses, Bella is often seen rocking nerdy rectangular frames, reminiscent of 90s minimalism. Since moving to Texas, Bella has gotten back on the saddle and begun competing in amateur horsecutting, and even got her own cowboy boyfriend, Adan Banuelos. Hadid’s new fragrance line, ‘Ôrəbella, is a love letter to the supermodel’s Arabic heritage: the name itself is a portmanteau between her name and “Iron ore”, the Arabic meaning of her surname. In an interview with Allure, she cites the importance of fragrances in Arabic culture and her family’s ties to the fragrance business. The cultural background behind ‘Ôrəbella clearly inspired Bella’s choice to wear a flowing pink kaftan at a brand event.
