The ultimate plus size style guide
Calling all curvy girls: ever feel like you can’t find cute clothing in your size? From awkward fits to outdated styles, finding chic plus-size clothing can be a challenge; but here at Stylight, we wanted to make life a little bit easier for all of us bodacious babes. So, from our chicest plus-size brands to dressing for your body tips, this is our Ultimate Plus Size Style Guide.
Let’s talk about boobs. This is an ode to our girls, may we love them and treat them right. And while some ladies have the chest-ability to rock a barely-there lace bralette, if you’re *extra* blessed in the tata department, you know that should you choose to risk it, you’re always at a category 10 danger of nip-slipping. So, to the boobs that need a little more, this one is for you: scroll below for all the tips and tricks you need for dressing with big boobs, as well as our favourite big-boob-friendly bras by London-based inclusive lingerie brand Playful Promises.

How to dress for your body type
We always hear that ominous phrase, but what does it actually mean? We come in all shapes and sizes, so there’s no one-size-fits-all product. But not to worry, as women of all shapes and sizes ourselves, we’ve done the legwork for you. This is your Dressing for your Body Type Guide, which will help you identify the best silhouette to highlight your natural features.
Plus-size fashion has, in the past, received a bad rap for its frumpy, bland, and boring styles. Today we’re thankfully on the upswing (it’s about time!), and more and more brands are acknowledging size diversity and creating clothing that actually celebrates plus-size bodies, rather than trying to conceal them.
Which brands, in particular, deserve an honourable mention? Never Fully Dressed, LOFT, and Anne Cole are among our favourite plus-size brands thanks to their exciting and trend-driven approach; no more dressing like our grandmas! Moreover, a plethora of high street and online brands have developed “Plus” or “Curve” lines to deliver their well-known designs to curvy customers: Karen Millen, Ralph Lauren, H&M, ASOS, and Levi’s just to name a few.
The industry is definitely heading in the right direction when it comes to size inclusivity, but plenty of work still needs to be done!
