Worn during the taping of Nirvana’s 1993 performance on “MTV Unplugged”, Kurt Cobain’s cardigan was sold this week for $334,000, making it the most expensive sweater ever sold at auction.
Considered one of Nirvana’s best performances, the cardigan has never been washed and includes all the stains from its original wear.
