Arguably the epitome of the word ‘icon,’ Audrey Hepburn is one of the most commonly referenced style muses. She always makes a cameo at a Halloween party in Holly Golightly form, at some point she’s been a poster in 90% of girls’ bedrooms, and she serves as inspiration in countless magazine photoshoots.

Renowned for her relationship with couturier Hubert de Givenchy, the fashion icon gave rise to the LBD and rewrote fashion rules of the time. A style vanguard, humanitarian and downright elegant babe, Audrey Hepburn continues to be in a class of her own.

But what if she were alive today? This being her birthday, we thought we’d reimagine the waifish actress. Naturally, she’d consistently sport green juices and acai bowls. She’d wear the latest accessories including It Gucci loafers and finish her look with a M.A.C. Cosmetics light pink lipstick. And then she’d tszuj her blow-out before saying, ‘Fetch me my purse, will you, darling?’ – a purse, which, obviously, had to be a Givenchy Antigona.

She’s the inimitable icon we’ll continue to adore and the style icon whose look we’ll envy forever. There was only one Audrey Hepburn.
