Avoid the Perils of Low-Rise Jeans

The Danger: Gapping at the Waistband

The Danger: Revealing Too Much

Avoid an embarrassing situation by looking at the listed length of the pant according to size compared to the inseam — if the difference between the inseam length and the pant length is less than 4 inches, you might want to keep shopping.

Fix the issue by choosing a pair with a dose of spandex in the textile. The amount is up to you, but adding some stretch makes your jeans less binding and more supportive.
The Danger: Bunching legs
Wearing jeans that are too long leads to unflattering bunching around the calves. Avoid this by measuring your inseam and looking for a pair to match. Should you find a pair that you love that are too long, it’s an easy fix — a tailor can hem your denim for cheap.
