As fall arrives, the color red is emerging as the predominant trend on the fashion scene. This year, it seems that red will reign supreme among clothing and accessories like handbags, leather jackers, and of course sunglasses. Recent Fashion Weeks around the world and the analysis of purchasing behavior of our 120 million annual users have confirmed the appeal of this shade. Here are the red-colored product categories that are currently seeing a spike in interest and traffic.

1. The red handbag

Red handbags have always symbolized power, self confidence, and sophistication. This season, they are making an unprecedented statement. Renowned designers such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, and Prada presented a wide variety of red handbags of different shapes and sizes at recent Fashion Weeks in Paris and Milan. From tote bags to hobo bags, these designers have embraced the irresistible appeal of red, allowing fashionistas to find the perfect shade to suit their personal style. On Stylight, we noticed and 30% increase in clicks from our online users specifically for red handbags, as well as clicks for red hobo bags increasing by 9 times compared to last year. 

2. The red leather jacket

The leather jacket and in particular in the leather bomber are a big trend for fal 2023. During Fashion Weeks, the red leather jacket appeared at many houses such as Valentino, Alexander McQueen, and Balenciaga. These designers helped reaffirm the red leather jacket as a timeless icon, proving its versatility and appeal. endures as fashion trends evolve. On Stylight, we saw a 14% increase in clics from our users for red leather jackets. In general, we have notied that red leather is currently experiencing a peak of interest, all categories combined: +182% increase in clicks from our online users on red leather clothing and accessories.

3. Red Sunglasses

In terms of accessories, we are also seeing more and more red sunglasses. At Copenhagen Fashion week, red sunglasses made a remarkable and surprising appearance on the catwalks and among attendees, confirming their status as a contemporary fashion element. On Stylight, we saw a 66% increase in demand for red sunglasses.
