Italy is a country of incomparable beauty: the food, the landscape and not to mention the fashion. Great fashion brands like Prada and Gucci come from Italy and stand for modern design. In this southern European country, fashion seems to be just as equally important for the men as it is for women. But what is their secret?

Okay, let’s start with a cliché: Italian men love a good suit jacket. But to give it that Italian flair, choose a jacket with a cool pattern, a shirt without a tie, chic pair of trousers, and of course loafers. With this look, you really can’t go wrong. And the nice thing is, you don’t need to buy a full three piece suit – all you need is a pair of chinos and a jacket!

A monochrome look is sometimes the easiest way to look put together. And in summertime, one of the best colors is a light beige or white. Consider a full beige-look and pair it with a cool bandana like Paolo Faccio.

What does an Italian wear in summer? Light, linen pants and a knit shirt. When the weather is a bit warmer go for light fabrics so you can stay cool and look cool (obviously).
