10 Christmas traditions you should start this year
No disrespect to time-honoured Christmas traditions (carolling, tree decorating, having mall-induced anxiety attacks on Christmas Eve, etc.) but this year, we’re stepping up our Yuletide game and starting new holiday traditions. Want to get more out of the season and have your friends begging for a re-do for years to come? Check out these festive and creative Christmas traditions to take up.
- Swap out a vineyard tasting for different coffee shops and try to sample all the seasonal holiday beverages.
- Create an activity Advent calendar and commit to 25 Christmas-themed activities you can do as a couple, housemates, or as a family…
- …this could include a Christmas movie marathon,
- A globally-inspired feast (Italian Panettone, French Bûche de Noël, and German Glühwein, for example),
- Or decorating ornaments to represent the year that has passed (this could go any given way for 2020).
