The much-anticipated “Gossip Girl” reboot premiered on July 8 on HBO, and much like its well-loved predecessor, it’s all about the fashion.
While the original “Gossip Girl” cast may have been known for their sky-high stilettos, this season’s costume department is playing on a Gen Z-favourite: Adidas Superstar sneakers.
Since the “Gossip Girl” premiere in early July, searches for Adidas Superstar sneakers have increased by a whopping 317% on Google, thanks to an OOTD appearance by Zoya Lott (played by Whitney Peak).
The Dan Humphrey-inspired character wore a pair of limited-edition “Beyonce Blue Ivy” Superstar Platforms in the show’s first episode, which retail for $200.
