While this swimwear trend may look like it’s stolen directly from a 1989 Baywatch scene, ultra-high bikinis and swimsuits are all over our present-day Instagram feeds.
With celebrity fans ranging from Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Ashley Graham, the provocative swimwear trend, which favors showing as much thigh as possible, is the latest ’80s throwback that’s hitting the high street. And while we have to admit that we’re not completely sold on the barely-there coverage, we have to admit, it’s certainly one way to avoid traditional tan lines.
