See how leather Chelsea Boots are being styled in Paris, New York and Berlin!

Leather Chelsea Boots are one of the most popular types of shoe worldwide. It’s no surprise, seeing as they can be worn by both men and women and are versatile to new interpretations. Stylight ventured out into three hip cities – and brought all kinds of inspiration back with us! Here we reveal how you can style your Chelsea Boots à la Paris, New York or Berlin.

1. Chic in Paris

There is a saying amongst the women of France that their perfect sense of style is simply inherited. It doesn’t seem all that impossible, seeing as fashion exists in Paris like in no other city. For a chic Parisian look, combine your black leather Chelsea Boots with black skinny jeans. Couple that with an oversized, stripy T-shirt in light-blue and white, and a perfectly fitting leather jacket in Bordeaux-red. A light-brown shoulder purse with a signature detail – for example gold studs – would work just as well as gold jewellery with this outfit.

2. Laid-back in New York

There’s cool, there’s cooler and then there’s New York! For the perfect city style, wear dark-red leather Chelsea Boots. Both women and men can combine the look with dark blue skinny jeans with distressed details. A white print T-shirt paired with a checked-shirt tied around your waist completes the outfit. As a final touch for your walk through the Big Apple, grab a cool, light-coloured leather rucksack and a cap or a fedora!

3. Cool in Berlin

Berlin is a city of cool fashions: unconventional, extravagant and never boring. Women wear Chelsea Boots in pink or light blue leathers, with large and loose-fitting grey dresses. They combine these elements with lots of chains, as well as a casual jean jacket. Men should look for styles in earthy colours, with cool cut-out details. For an especially laid-back look: ankle-grazer jeans, a white V-neck T-shirt and leather bracelets – done!

The leather Chelsea Boot is a classic model, invented by a shoemaker working for Queen Victoria back in the 19th century. The shoes gained worldwide fame in the 60s, when they were regularly seen being worn by The Beatles!
