For many people the bed is more than just a place to sleep. It’s also a place to read, play, even work. In very small bedrooms or apartments, the bed sometimes needs to function as a sofa. Therefore it’s important to find the bedstead that fits your individual home and we’ll show you how!
Your Very First Apartment
- Living Situation: The budget is set and the space is limited, but you still want an attractive space and refuse to sacrifice comfort.
- Requirements: The bedstead ideally has a pull-out function so that it can also double as a guest bed.
- Bedstead: Foldaway beds save space by folding out of the way during the day. Other styles offer pullout drawers for extra storage space or a trundle bed.

Storage Space in the Bedroom
- Living Situation: Your bedroom isn’t particularly large and you don’t want to downsize your bed just to fit in an extra dresser, but you definitely need more storage.
- Requirements: The bed should be large, comfortable, and visually appealing. Plus: Pillows, bed linens, and towels should be able to be stored inside.

- Requirements: The bedstead should be durable and offer enough room for the little ones to climb in at night.
- Bedstead: In addition to the traditional double bed, we recommend the box spring model. This style has a wooden frame with slats and offers exceptional stability.

- Living Situation: A bed for kids or teens is used for much more than just sleep and needs to be able to withstand rought treatment.
- Requirements: The bedspread is obviously there for sleep, but functions also as a place to play or retreat and rest. A bed that can also be pulled out for sleepovers is a definite bonus.
- Bedstead: Bunk beds are perfect for kids that want extra playspace. A functional bed that can be pulled out makes the most sense for teenagers.
