While the launch of her new skincare line, Rhode, was met with positive reviews on TikTok, Hailey Bieber’s viral chrome “glazed donut” nails have been getting all the attention. Not one to gatekeep, Hailey herself shared her technique on how to copy the look and since then its blown up on the social platform. On TikTok, #haileybiebernails has 165.8M views – and on Stylight, we saw a 203% increase in clicks for “chrome nail polish” as well as a 52% increase in search interest for Hailey’s favorite shade “Funny Bunny” by OPI.

99% INCREASE IN SEARCH INTEREST FOR “SIREN EYES”

The classic cat eye gets an update for 2022. TikTok has been filled with tutorials about how to get the perfect “siren eye” a la Alexis Demi and Bella Hadid. #sireneyes has a whopping 438.9M views on TikTok, and clicks for brown eyeshadow – one of the staples needed to achieve the sultry look- have increased by 232% on Stylight. Search interest on Google for “siren eyes” has also increased by 99%.

It’s no secret that the French drugstore products are on another level. But lately the #frenchpharmacy has been getting attention again with 26.1M views on clips of beauty estheticians documenting their beauty hauls and revealing their must-have miracle products. Clicks on the Eucerin brand have increased by over 3000% and French- fave brand, Nuxe, has also seen a 263% increase in clicks.

85% INCREASE IN CLICKS FOR COSRX ON STYLIGHT
89% INCREASE IN CLICKS FOR CERAVE ON STYLIGHT

Glass skin has been a hot topic on beauty TikTok (530.6M views)- and it turns out products containing snail mucin are the Korean skincare secret to achieving smooth, textureless skin. COSRX , a brand known for its snail mucin products have seen an 85% increase in clicks. And for those that might be a little bit squeamish, there’s #slugging (430.2M views), which involves using products like Vaseline or Cerave’s healing ointment as a way to coat the skin and lock in moisture overnight is a slime-free alternative to achieve “glass skin”. The Cerave brand has also seen an 89% increase in clicks compared to last year.

300% INCREASE IN CLICKS ON “SMUDGE PROOF LIPSTICKS” ON STYLIGHT

Liquid lipstick is having moment and “For You” pages are being flooded with TikToks of #transferprooflipsticks and the hastag has already 11.7M. views. Labeled as the perfect wedding lipstick, brands like Dior, Urban Decay, Maybelline New York, and even Lady Gaga’s Haus Laboratories brand have all released their own versions of smudge proof lipstick that are PDA-approved. On Stylight, we’ve seen an over 300% increase in clicks on “smudge proof lipsticks”.
