We may not be experts in hearts at Stylight, but we definitely know a thing a two about trends. So we decided to analyze the looks of some of the trendiest couples of the moment. Today, we can see how the interest in these celebrity couples is no longer just limited to gossip, it’s becoming an increasingly powerful commercial tool for fashion brands. So let’s take a look at our list of love birds: Our Influencer Couple, Street style couple, Movie star couple, Gothic teenage love couple, Music couple and Golden celeb couple.
Who are the most fashionable couples?
Chiara & Fedez
If we talk about love and fashion we can not fail to mention THE Influencer couple composed of Chiara Ferragni and Fedez. Both certainly have prominent positions within the social cross-section of the last decade, in which Fedez is certainly one of the spokesmen of genderless fashion thanks to his nail polishes and Chiara is the digital entrepreneur par excellence. They both not only dress fashionably, they do it together. An example is the partnership that the Ferragnez have undertaken with the Versace brand, worn by both in important moments of their lives, like at their wedding, in which Fedez waited for Chiara at the altar wearing a Versace suit. As proof of their power as a couple, there are also Google searches that between January 2021 and January 2022 increased by +900% for the search term “Ferragnez” and only +12% (Chiara Ferragni) and +13% (Fedez) for their individually searched names.

Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum are undoubtedly the cool couple on the block. Since the beginning of their relationship, at every appearance they have entranced photographers and passers-by with their perfectly casual looks. Zoe, with her innate sense for the boho rock chic style and Channing, with his perfect 2000s style (just like in Step-Up, the movie where we all began swooning over him). The obsession for this couple and its style started immediately. Between mid-August, when their relationship was made public, and the end of September, Google searches for “Zoë Kravitz Channing Tatum” increased by +210% and both of them, as good “street stylers” often wear some of the most popular clothes of the moment, and on Stylight we’ve seen the following increase in interest between the last two weeks of December 2021 and the first two weeks of January 2022: Tank tops (+57%) strictly worn without a bra and low-waisted pants (+52%) for her and oversized T-shirts (+109%) and baggy jeans (+25%) for him.

Zendaya – the undisputed star of the successful series Euphoria is undoubtedly one of the fashion revelations of recent years and Tom Holland – the loveable and charming lead man of the Spiderman series, are undoubtably the star couple of the moment. During the promotion of the movie “Spiderman: No Way Home” in December 2021, the couple made a remarkable appearance in London. As a result, we have seen a spike in interest and traffic for the following product categories: +34% of clicks on tights (“tights with embellishments”), +139% for blazers “blazers with embellishments” and Tom is not left out because his 90*s look seems to have also attracted attention: we have seen an increase of +18% on leather bomber jackets. We couldn’t not talk about Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly (aka the Foot Locker employee of the year) in this report. The actress and the musician met in 2020 on the set of the movie ‘The Prey’. On January 13, 2022, Megan shared MGK’s proposal in front of a banyan tree (the same tree in front of which they made their relationship official) on Instagram,. The couple is undeniably one of the most fashionable couples of the moment, and each of their appearances is noticed. Like here in December 2021 for the launch of UN/DN LAQR by Machine Gun Kelly in California. We noticed a spike in interest and traffic for the following jewelry: body chains (3 times more clicks after the event on Stylight, chin jewelry (+109% of search interest on Google) and armor rings (+309% on Google).

Rihanna & ASAP Rocky
A couple for over a year now, Rihanna and ASAP Rocky have made countless stylish appearances together. No one has forgotten their looks from the September 2021 MET Gala in New York, where the rapper appeared wrapped in a large patchwork blanket. After the event, search interest for the keywords “Rihanna and ASAP Rocky” increased by 78% on Google. But one of the styles we picked up is none other than the Varsity aesthetic, often worn by the couple and spotted a few weeks ago, during a dinner at Nobu restaurant in Hollywood. In January 2022, we noticed an increase in clicks for Varsity jackets (+25%) as well as +68% for tracksuits. Both Rihanna and ASAP have their own individual ventures, Fenty Beauty has seen an over 1000 percent increase in clicks on Stylight over the last year and ASAP’s recently released a collaboration with Vans which has caused a +15% increase in clicks on the brand. And now with the recent pregnancy announcement, there will be even more buzz around Rihanna and ASAP, especially when it comes to RiRi’s (already) killer maternity style.

They’re beautiful, young and famous, making them the celebrity golden couple: The Biebers. Justin and Hailey have known each other since they were kids and crowned the dream of their teenage love by getting married in September 2018 where Hailey showed up at the altar wearing a gorgeous custom made Off-White dress created by the recently deceased Virgil Abloh. The two when it comes to looks, never leave anything to chance – always dressed in coordinated or complementary ways, Justin and Hailey are one of the most fashionable couples of our time. And to reinforce the trend of wanting to cooridinate outfits as a couple, Google searches for the term “Couple outfit” have increased by +23% in the first weeks of 2022 compared to the final weeks of 2021. Among the couple’s most beloved accessories are hats: beanies for him and bucket hats for her and both categories saw an increase in clicks of +22% and +52% on Stylight. The leather look is the last big trend of the moment and has also always been a favorite of Hailey and on Stylight clicks for leather blazers have increased by +47% during the first two weeks of 2022.
