Our latest results: online shoppers stick to cult classics when it comes to makeup & skincare

2019 was a big year for beauty industry: worth $93.5 billion in the US alone (Statista), it is projected to reach $805 billion dollars in value by 2023 (Reuters). That’s not a surprise, considering the endless amount of fresh trends, brands and products that regularly hit the market, and factoring in the growing appeal beauty has among younger generations, Gen Z included.

With over 100,000 beauty items available on Stylight, we were curious to find out which were the most popular items in make up & skincare of the last 6 months.

Our numbers don’t lie: although the it-products of 2019 have gained momentum, online shoppers stick to products they know and love when it comes to make-up, fragrances & skin care.
