Trend of the month: Biker Chic(k)

While men’s fashion has embraced its softer side , à la the “”Soft boy”” trend  (captained by some of our favorite dreamboats, Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet) women’s fashion appears to have veered in the other direction. Introducing Biker Chic(k): featuring lots of fringe, leather, and snake skin print. Fashion weeks in Paris, Milan, and Copenhagen saw fashion cool girls sporting a new kind of biker jacket. It looks like motorcross-style jackets are making their move in 2022 with Kim K spotted wearing a Balenciaga version in LA last week. We are also seeing leather fringe take over coats, dresses, and accessories. Jumping on this trend means not forgetting about a key biker staple – snake skin. This print is versatile and is popping up on pants, boots, and bags. We’ve seen an increase in clicks and search interest on the following categories:

+41% increase in clicks for biker jackets on Stylight
+68% increase in search interest for snake skin print on Google
+40% increase in search interest for fringe on Google
+8% increase in clicks for leather vests on Stylight
