As the days get longer and the temperature rises, so does the desire to renew our wardrobes with the latest trends. We’ve taken a look at the shopping behavior of our 120 million online shoppers across our 15 international platfroms to highlight the 8 fashion trends for Spring 2023.

Trend #1 and #2: The long skirt (36% increase in demand) and the cargo skirt (>1000% increase in demand)
This spring, the trend is the long skirt: in denim of course, but also in all other materials. It’s the perfect transition from cooler to warmer temperatures, and will be everywhere this spring 2023. On Stylight, we’ve seen a 36% spike in interest and traffic compared to last year, and over 1000% increase specifically for the cargo skirt – this great 90’s trend, both chic and casual, is definitely back.
Trend #3: Parachute pants (107% increase in clicks)
In the same “effortless, but practical” style as the cargo skirt, we find the parachute pant. Brought back to the forefront of the fashion scene last year by Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber, this trend has been wildly popular with Gen Z and continues to a make its way to the top this spring with a 107% increase in demand on Stylight.

Trend #4 and #5: Cropped shirts and jackets (133% increase in demand)
Jackets, shirts, and even blazers: this year the trend is “cropped”! Many designers have presented their versions of the jacket or short shirt during the last fashion shows and it seems that this trend will continue in the fall and winter. On Stylight, we’ve already seen a 133% increase in clicks for this spring.
Trend #6: Bomber jackets (40% increase in demand)
The bomber has naturally become a must-have in our wardrobe in recent years. This spring, it is worn in leather or in a slightly oversized version. This casual jacket has seen a 40% increase in clicks on Stylight.
Trend #7: Tube tops (25% increase in demand)
Another symbol of the 90’s is back this year: the tube top. Versatile and easy to wear, it’s about to replace the basic white t-shirt. On Stylight, we noted a 25% increase for this category of top.

Trend #8: Wedge sandals (328% increase in demand)
As far as shoes are concerned, it’s not only the ballerina that’s making a comeback: wedge heels will also be one of the major trends for spring. Favoring both chicness and comfort, online shoppers already seem to be won over by this shoe. On Stylight, we’ve seen a 328% increase in demand for wedge sandals and 194% increase for wedge mules.
Trend #9: Metallic bags (13% increase in search interest on Google)
This year, we are witnessing the return of the large tote bag. And precisely on the side of accessories, we notice a disco-inspired trend: the metallic bag that is currently experiencing an increase in clicks on Google (13% increase in searches compared to last month). On Stylight, the color silver has also seen a spike in interest of 344%.
