Opera gloves are trending: retro Hollywood glam gets a modern twist

Opera gloves have been making their appearance lately – first spotted on the red carpet amongst all the glitz and glamour on celebs like Elsa Hosk, Dua Lipa and Euphoria’s Sydney Sweeney. We’ve also started to see them making their way down the runways of Valentino and Elie Saab and popping up on the streetstyle scene. Reminding us of the era of Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly, this old Hollywood look is making its return with a modern twist – we’re seeing cool patterns and textures along with added extras like feathers, lace, and pearl embellishments. Stylight users seem to be in on the trend with clicks for evening gloves icreasing by 153 percent in the last two months. There has also been a 90 percent increase in search interest for long leather gloves – like the ones spotted on fashion influencer, Caro Daur, during Paris Fashion week.
