The most wanted coats for winter 2022/2023

While temperatures are decidedly unseasonably high in many parts of the world, Stylight’s 160 million global users are starting to search for their coats for this winter, and the coats and jackets categories are experiencing their usual seasonal traffic spike. But what are the most visited and clicked coat categories compared to last year? Here are the top 5 most searched coats and jackets for winter 2022 / 2023 :

Coat trend #1: Aviator coats and jackets

This is definitely the biggest outerwear trend of the year. Clicks for the aviator jacket category increased by 218% in October compared to the same period last year.

Coat trend #2: Shearling/teddy coats and jackets

The shearling or teddy coats and jackets still have their place in our winter wardrobe this year. Clicks on the category have doubled (+102%) since last year.

Coat trend #3: The long maxi coat

The maxi coat is also back in force this year – reaching almost down to the feet, sometimes oversized, and impossible to miss this winter. The clicks for this category have already increased by 68% compared to last year.

Coat trend #4: The wool coat

A winter classic, the wool coat is always among the most sought-after categories for the colder months. This year, clicks are up 43% over last year.

Coat trend #5: The puffer coat

The puffer coat has not said its last word! If it was very fashionable in the last few years, it remains one of the most popular options for users this year. In fact, clicks on the category have again (slightly, but surely) increased by 12%.
