Is slow fashion the new fast fashion? Not quite, but we might be there soon: consumer interest in sustainable fashion continues to grow, and Stylight can confirm this trend. We have seen a +24% increase in clicks globally on conscious fashion brands in the first quarter of 2020 (January-March 2020 vs. 2019). And there’s more: when compared with last year, these 5 sustainable labels have experienced a strong growth in interest and traffic since the beginning of 2020:
- Madewell: +66% increase in clicks
II - Reformation: +65% increase in clicks
I - Veja: +26% increase in clicks
I - Ninety percent: +25% increase in clicks
I - Patagonia: +22% increase in clicks
In terms of absolute number of clicks (not increases), Odd Molly also appears in the top 5 most requested responsible brands.
Stylight’s study of the best-performing environmentally friendly labels this year was based on internal data collected from the 12 million monthly users of its various international platforms from the beginning of January to the end of March 2020. The click increases are measured by comparing Q1 2020 with Q1 2019.
