The new Netflix series everyone is talking about in 2021? It’s Bridgerton, a.k.a “the Gossip Girl of the 19th Century”, a Regency-era drama that has had everyone glued to the TV since its release over the holidays. Everyone’s been talking about those hot love scenes between Daphne and the Duke of Hastings: but it’s not just the deliciously scandalous drama that has got us obsessed with the series. Since the drop of the show, we’ve seen an increase in interest for fashion inspired by the Regency era. For instance, we’ve reported a +150% increase in clicks for empire-waist dresses, as well as a growth for capes (+37%), velvet dresses (+69%), babydoll dresses (+63%), and headbands (+42%). Will the Bridgerton-inspired look be one of the hottest trends of 2021? We’ll wait for Lady Whistledown to decide..

All data in this report is based on the following time period: 2 weeks before the launch of the series on 25.12.2020, compared to 2 weeks after the launch.
