In Hebrew, ‘naot’ means ‘oasis’—a fitting name for an Israeli shoe company focused on crafting high-quality comfort footwear. Started in 1942 in a small Kibbutz, Naot started making supportive leather shoes for farm laborers but quickly found that their footwear was set to be popular on an international scale.

The idea for the construction of Naot shoes came from a sort of “reverse footprint.” The soles of each pair of Naots mimic the imprint that your feet might make on sand, allowing you to mold the shoe to fit each curve of your foot. Leaving footprints never felt so good.
