It depends on the size
Baggy pants for men can be one to three sizes bigger than your usual pants. Because if they are too fitting, you’ll quickly start to look like a wannabe. If you feel uncomfortable in wide pant legs, try carrot jeans or cargo pants instead.
The right belt makes all the difference
To stop the pants from slipping too far when you’re wearing them, choose a cloth belt with a catch fastener. These are better for baggy pants than leather belts with clasps, because you can select the necessary width to the millimeter.
Avoid satin underwear!
On smooth material like satin, baggy pants for men will soon start to slip. It’s best to go for boxer shorts made from cotton. If you want to wear your pants at extreme depths, you can wear a second pair of boxer shorts over the first pair, which you can quite simply pull further down.
How low can you go?
“The deeper the better”, that’s what they say. But to make sure you can still walk properly in your baggy pants – the back pockets of your pants shouldn’t go any lower down than the back of your knees.
How to style pants the right way
If you don’t want to show of your boxer shorts you can combine baggy pants for men with oversized shirts. Hoodies, baseball caps and sneakers are also good picks. With print shirts, blazers, silk scarves and lace-up shoes, baggy pants can join the every day club.
Mind you don’t trip!
To stop yourself from falling flat on your face every time you wear your pants, stuff them into the back of your shoes. A stylish variety and a guaranteed breath of fresh air are rolled up pant legs.
One city in Florida thinks baggy pants are anything but sexy. They’ve banned men from wearing baggy pants that hang too low. But on the fashion scene there is only one rule: For formal occasions pull your pants up a little – your underwear should not be visible.
